Accommodation

Note that due to a major cricket match there is a significant pressure on accommodation in Adelaide during Kangacrypt and prices are unusally high.

The Mantra Hindmarsh Square offers a special rate for Kangacrypt and ASEC participants. Booking instructions:

1. Visit http://mantrahotels.com
2. Select the Region and Property, your Travel Dates and the Number of People travelling
3. Click on change Search and place in Input Promo Code UOAWRKSHOPS182 (case sensitive) in the Promo Box – hit SEARCH again. You will now see the discount applied to all rates.
4. Select the room type you wish to book and hit BOOK NOW to proceed to payment screen.
5. Fill in all required details to confirm your booking and hit COMPLETE BOOKING.
6. An email confirmation will be sent once all details have been processed.
7. Once booking is confirmed, it can be accessed via My Bookings on the same website by logging in using the Reservation number on your confirmation and the Surname on the booking.

While the discount does not apply to other Mantra properties, some of these seem cheaper than the Mantra Hindmarsh Square. We suggest checking the distance to the workshop venue.

Student accommodation

Alexandra Lodge offers short term accommodation at AU$50/night. The property is 30-40 minutes walk from the workshop/summer school venues. (Or 10 minutes at AU$10–$15 with Uber.)
